Test Day Schedule
PSAT (9th grade) and PSAT/NMSQT (10th & 11th grade)
12th Grade (Act 158 Completion in the IMC)
7:30 – 8:15
Students arrive and report to the cafeteria for breakfast
8:15 – 8:30
9th, 10th, and 11th grade students report to their testing locations and 12th graders to the IMC
8:30 – 9:15 Digital Readiness Check
9:15 – 12:00 Testing
12:00 Students are dismissed for grab & go lunch
12:00 – 12:30 Teacher lunch
12:30 – 1:50 PLC & content grade meetings
1:50 – 2:34 Lesson planning/Prep
TEST TAKING TIPS FROM MS. ROSEN:
Use annotation to help them with readings; the focus should be on strong text comprehension. If students write their thoughts on the test book then they’ll help themselves to answer questions at the passage’s end.
Use the process of elimination to discard two answers from the ones that are available. Then choose the best answer.
Answer every question because wrong answers don’t count against you
Go to bed at a reasonable time and eat a good breakfast in the morning.
