On April 11, 2018, 7 students along with Ms. Stewart and Ms. Brophy were asked to present solutions to the Aspen Challenge concerning “school-to-prison pipeline”. They presented their ideas while wearing orange prison jumpsuits and gold crowns. They taught origami to students, worked with police officers, and also came up with the idea of setting up scholarships for formerly incarcerated youth.
With this great ideas, BARTRAM WON FIRST PLACE AT THE ASPEN CHALLENGE!!! They won A TRIP TO ASPEN, COLORADO to present these great ideas to an international audience. Let’s cheer them on to VICTORY!!!
